Brief: To update staff headshots for the About Us Page, showcasing the amazing and friendly staff at Elegant Edge Dentistry. Their old headshots were flat and un-attractive, so capturing new portraits that really popped was their ultimate goal, and we took care of the rest.

Elegant Edge Dentistry recently underwent a re-branding of their dental practice. Their new brand name and messaging were crafted to reflect the standard of dental care they provide to their patience. Leaning into the core adjective of their new brand, “elegant”, we sought to create portraiture of their staff that reflected that sense of elegance to their viewers. Elegant Edge Dentistry first had their portraits taken as a combo package included for free with their recent highlight video of their practice. Their staff were dissatisfied with the quality of the images originally captured by their videographer and realized that they needed a professional portrait photographer to help elevate and make their people stand out on screen.
At the shoot, we brought along a simplistic 3 studio light setup to set the scene. 1 AD200 with a 30’ square modifier as our main key light, 1 AD200 with a beauty dish for fill light, and another AD200 with barn doors and a blue gel to add some accent color to match their branding. Tethering to a bigger screen allowed us to catch any potential post-production issues ensuring the client was happy with the images we were getting in the process and each member walked away knowing we captured their best self.
